Ronald McDonald House Westchester Appoints Colleen Magliari Borrelli as Chief Executive Officer

VALHALLA, N.Y. — September 8, 2026— Ronald McDonald House Westchester has announced the appointment of Colleen Magliari Borrelli as Chief Executive Officer. In this executive leadership role, Borrelli will guide the organization’s strategic direction, identify

opportunities to expand its impact, and ensure the House provides compassionate, family-centered support at its 12-bedroom facility located on the campus of Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth).

Borrelli joins Ronald McDonald House Westchester with a distinguished background spanning healthcare administration, higher education, politics, and government. Most recently, she served as Vice President of External Affairs & Government Relations for Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and White Plains Hospital. During her nearly 15-year tenure at Burke Rehabilitation, Borrelli served as the hospital's first Vice President of Patient Experience, where she led the creation of the Marsal Family Caregiver Center—a unique facility and program exclusively dedicated to the needs of patient families and the only one of its kind in a rehabilitation hospital nationwide.

Throughout her career, Borrelli has been passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare grounded in compassion, empathy, and respect. She began her career in the Congressional office of Representative Nita M. Lowey before becoming Mercy University’s first Director of Government & Community Relations.

In her new role as CEO, Borrelli hopes to strengthen healthcare and community partnerships, expanding philanthropic support, and ensuring that the House continues to provide a welcoming, supportive home for families while their children receive critical medical care.

Because of the families it serves and its location, Ronald McDonald House Westchester works closely with Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, Westchester Medical Center, and Blythedale Children’s Hospital.

Borrelli holds a Master of Science in Childhood Education from Mercy University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Purchase College. She actively serves on the Board of Directors for the Business Council of Westchester and co-chairs its Women in Business Council. She resides in Briarcliff Manor with her husband and daughter.
