Royal Hanneford Circus in the Hudson Valley over Presidents Day Weekend

9 shows plus a special performance at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital — and 4 members of the 7th generation of Hannefords are in the acts!

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The Royal Hanneford Circus makes its 42nd annual appearance at The Westchester County Center over President’s Day Weekend.

It’s the full circus, complete with a singing Ringmaster, dynamic and daring performers from around the World, tigers and elephants, Grandma the Clown and much more.

With the recent announcement that the Ringling Brothers Circus will close and the closing last year of The Big Apple Circus, The Royal Hanneford is now one of the few remaining and possibly the largest, traveling 3-Ring traditional Circus around. It is certainly old, with roots dating back to 1690 England.

The Royal Hanneford Circus is still owned and operated by a Hanneford. They still travel the country in their trailers and trucks and vans. They still present a lively, two-hour family friendly show featuring performers from all over the world ready to entertain “Kids of All Ages.”

Included in the nine shows at the County Center will be performances by the four Hanneford children — the seventh generation ranging in age from 10 to 20 years.

The traveling Circus will arrive in White Plains from their performance in Dayton, Ohio. They will transform the Westchester County Center into a 3-ring Circus, hanging rigging, setting lights and music.

At 1:30 p.m. Thursday they will perform a mini circus at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.

Three shows daily Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at 10AM, 2PM and 6PM. Tickets are $27 and $35 and are available at The Westchester County Center Box Office, Ticketmaster or ticketmaster.com.
