Skincare Company Kiehl's Opens First Westchester Store June 5

Skincare experts Kiehl’s Since 1851 will open a new store in White Plains on June 5, the company’s first location in Westchester, officials announced.

The store will be inside The Westchester, 125 Westchester Ave., and it will feature the company’s line of popular women’s and men’s skin and hair products, renowned customer service, no-frills, recyclable packaging and generous sampling program.

Among the company’s products are Musk Oil, Lip Balm #1, Creme de Corps, Ultra Facial Cream, Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado, Blue Astringent Herbal Lotion, Super Multi-Corrective Cream, Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream, Rosa Arctica Youth Regenerating Cream, Midnight Recovery Concentrate, and Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate.

“Our 65th store introduces Westchester to the very specialized, very specific, Kiehl’s retail experience, just in time for the summer skincare season!” the company said in a statement. “We’re introducing three new formulas for sun protection in June, so our customers can shield their skin from sun damage no matter how they choose to spend their summer days!”

Kiehl’s at The Westchester mirrors the unique ambiance found in the company’s original New York Flagship, which began as a neighborhood apothecary in 1851. The new store brings a modern New York apothecary to White Plains, referencing the company’s original East Village roots and blending antique apothecary fixtures with modern flair. The interior design advances Kiehl’s longtime commitment to the environment with the use of natural, sustainable materials and energy-efficient light fixtures, while enhancing the overall service experience for Kiehl’s patrons.

The grand opening event will be held on Friday, June 5, with a public celebration from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The first 50 customers in line at 4 p.m. will receive mystery gift cards worth up to $500, and all customers will receive a .95 oz. Ultra Facial Cream with any purchase. Guests will also be offered complimentary 20-minute seated facials, and refreshments, according to the company.
