Snow, Freezing Cold in White Plains' Forecast: Latest Updates

Bundle up! You'll wake up Friday to very cold temps around White Plains and Valhalla. Here are the details.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Here we go Hudson Valley, some bitterly cold temps will arrive overnight and stay through the weekend — and the chance for the state’s first widespread snow of the year may occur late Sunday and into Monday.

Bundle up! It’s going to be a radical shift in temperatures starting Friday with daytime highs slightly above freezing, which could set the stage for the snowstorm.

"This air is more typical of what you might expect in mid January or February… and with it being the first truly arctic outbreak of the season, it will catch a lot of people off guard," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
