Stop and Shop Cart-wrangler Honored for Returning Lost Wallet

The 83-year-old said he didn't think twice about turning it in.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — An 83-year-old cart-wrangler at the White Plains Stop and Shop lifted the spirits of a woman who had inadvertently left her wallet in a shopping cart.

Henry Iherissaint found Patty Kennedy’s wallet and turned it in to his boss, News 12 said, and Kennedy searched social media to find the man who allowed her to get back her passport, cash and more.

The grateful woman gave Iherissaint a check for his good deed.

For his part, Iherissaint said he was just doing his job, ABC-7 reported.

He said he didn’t think twice about turning it in to customer service.
