SWEET & SAVORY COMES TO THE WHITE PLAINS FARMER'S MARKET

Two new vendors will be at the White Plains Farmer's Market on Wednesday, 5/21/14.  Anna's  Spices and Sweet Things and Wid Thyme Honey will be on Court Street, between Main and Martine fro 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

  • Anna Frumes honed her talent for spice mixology through a life spent traveling and cooking.  Growing up in a food-centric family of restauranteurs, she developed her culinary skills through hands-on experiences around the world, in the home kitchens of Polynesia, Spain, Ukraine, Thailand, Costa Rica, India, Congo and Turkey.  With an international mindset, she is committed to bringing people and cutures together through food.  Why buy lots of spices to make the perfect pad thai?  Let Anna do the work for you and put them all into one jar!  www.annasspices.com
  • Andrezej (Andy) and Heather Kurosz are following in the footsteps of his Polish ancestors in their production of raw honey.  Whether it's for the health benefits or simply for the marvelous taste, you must try their products.  Based in Warwick, New York, Sweet Things and Wild Thyme Honey and related products (beeswax candles, lip balm, honeycomb) are organic and chemical-free.  They produce a wide variety of honey throughout the year, as different crops come into season.  Their Kabocha Squash Blossom Honey is a revelation! Look for them right next to S & So. Produce, closer to Main Street, on the Macy's side of the street.  www.peacelovehoney@gmail.com
