Theft At County Center Forces Cancellation Of Streets Game

Officials said a ring and $3,000 in cash was stolen from one of the teams' locker room.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Theft of items from a team's locker room forced the halftime cancellation of a National Arena League game at the Westchester County Center Sunday. Officials said, when the Carolina Cobras were playing against the home team New York Streets, the Cobras' locker room was entered and personal items of the players and coaches were stolen.

The visiting team said a ring and $3,000 in cash were missing, according to the Journal News.

Westchester County Police are reviewing security footage, and the count center is working to issue refunds to attendees.
