United Way Of Westchester And Putnam To Honor Former Chair
The Day of Golf fundraiser will celebrate William "Bill" M. Mooney Jr.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — A former United Way of Westchester and Putnam board chairman will be honored at the organization's Day of Golf Sept. 27.
William "Bill" M. Mooney Jr. is the current director of community and institutional relationships at Simone Healthcare Development and the former president and CEO of the Westchester County Association.
The Day of Golf fundraiser will be held at the Scarsdale Golf Club.

The event will include a shotgun start, a round of golf with contests and prizes, barbecue lunch on the course, silent auction and cocktails and culinary delights.
Mooney served on the United Way Board of Directors and as its chairman from 1990 to 1992. A member of the United Way of Westchester and Putnam's 50th Anniversary Committee, he was the sponsoring member of its celebration at Westchester Country Club in 2012.

United Way President and CEO Tom Gabriel said the organization was proud to honor him for his tremendous community impact.
"Bill is an incredible community supporter with a long history of involvement with United Way and many other charitable organizations in Westchester," he said.
