Update: New York Woman Struck and Killed By Vehicle on King Street in Greenwich
Motorists should avoid the area; Greenwich Police say the road is closed at the intersection of Anderson Hill Road.

Greenwich Police reportedly identified the victim as a woman in her 50s from the White Plains, NY area.

The victim may have traveled to the area by bus before she was struck by a vehicle shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday, according to LoHud.com.
Greenwich Police said they will release more information later Tuesday morning.

An unidentified pedestrian was struck and killed by a motor vehicle on King Street early Tuesday, according to Greenwich Police.
Members of the department’s Traffic Section are at the scene investigating and as a result, King Street at Anderson Hill Road will be closed for some time, according to police.
Check back for details as police say they will have more information to release later Tuesday morning.
