Voting Issues an Reform in New York

No matter what issues people care about, voting reform underpins them all.

The League of Women Voters of White Plains will present a forum on Voting Issues and Reform in New York on Wednesday, April 19th from 7 p.m. — 9p.m. at the Church Street School, 295 Church St. in White Plains.

The program will offer a general overview by our distinguished panel of experts on voting issues in the 2016 election in New York State, and discuss efforts at voting reform, including the “New York Votes” Act proposed by Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. Each participant will speak briefly, followed by a moderated panel discussion and ending with questions and answers from the audience. Our distinguished Panel include:

The program will offer an overview of voting issues in the 2016 election, and focus on voting issues and efforts at reform in New York State, including a discussion of the “New York Votes” Act.

The forum is free and open to the public. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
