Waterstone of Westchester Appoints Senior Advisor for Senior Community

Former Edgemont resident Abby Stenzler is the new Senior Advisor at Waterstone of Westchester in White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, NY - (JUNE, 2022) – Waterstone of Westchester has appointed Abby Stenzler as senior advisor to assist with marketing, community outreach and customer service now that White Plains’ newest senior living community has opened its doors.

Located on Bloomingdale Road in White Plains, Waterstone of Westchester is an elegant boutique hotel-style community for seniors featuring 62+ independent living residences with best-in-class amenities and services. It officially opened on June 8.

Ms. Stenzler, a Stamford resident and former resident of Edgemont, has more than 10 years of sales, marketing and management experience. Prior to joining Waterstone of Westchester, Ms. Stenzler served as community sales director for a senior living community in Rye Brook where she managed sales and marketing and cultivated relationships in the community. Earlier in her career, Ms. Stenzler worked as the associate director of a residential summer camp where she managed day-to-day operations.

“Abby is a proven professional with a strong background in sales and marketing,’’ said Joanna Cormac Burt, COO of Epoch Senior Living. “Her enthusiasm and talent for developing relationships are just what Waterstone of Westchester needs as we bring new families in following our official opening earlier this month. In her role as Senior Advisor at Waterstone, Ms. Stenzler will be responsible for all aspects of internal and external sales and marketing. She will also build relationships with families, clients and prospective families within the community and referral sources.

Ms. Stenzler said she is excited about the opening of Waterstone of Westchester, which is welcoming new residents each day, and to reconnecting with old neighbors here in Westchester.

“It’s exciting to help so many new families settle in, and to work in such a beautiful setting,’’ said Stenzler. “There really is nothing comparable as far as senior living communities.”

Waterstone of Westchester features 132 beautifully appointed residences and supportive services designed to provide seniors with independence, connection and socialization.
