But overall the weather looks good. And be sure to check out Patch's new, interactive hyperlocal feature for the extended forecast.

Looks like Friday will remain another hot one throughout Westchester County, but the weekend looks to be pretty good, according to forecasters.

“Hazy… Hot… and Humid will be the story on Friday, as our persistent southwest flow continues on Friday,” writes Hudson Valley Weather’s Bill Potter. “ We’ll see a frontal boundary approaching from the Northwest, but that won’t reach us until Saturday.”

At Patch we’ve launched our own hyperlocal interactive weather page, which gives you your community’s hour-by-hour, daily, and even weekly forecast. We even let you know what time the sunrise and sunset is.

There is a slight chance of showers this evening in parts of the region, according to the National Weather Service, but the rest of the weekend looks relatively dry... albeit muggy Saturday morning with another slight chance of showers in some areas.

That mugginess will likely burn off by the afternoon Saturday, and Sunday looks to be comfortable.

“So those with afternoon outdoor plans, may fare better than those with morning plans,“ Potter continued, referring to Saturday. “It will still be warm… as temps should climb into the low and mid 80s, so keep that in mind. Sunday looks decent… not too hot, and rather comfortable… just some clouds mixing with sunshine to contend with.”
