Westchester Man Claims $1M Powerball Prize

WHITE PLAINS, NY —A Westchester County man has claimed his $1,000,000 Powerball prize, according to lottery officials.

Manuel Palaguachi of Hartsdale has claimed a $1,000,000 Powerball second prize for matching the first five numbers in the July 19 drawing.

The winning numbers for that evening’s drawing were 07-10-11-13-24, with a Powerball of 24.

Of course, Uncle Sam took a huge chunk of the big prize. Palaguachi received a single lump sum payment totaling $591,000, after required withholdings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Central Snack Mart, located at 395 Central Ave. in White Plains.
