VALHALLA, NY — Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla is operating on emergency generators Friday morning. An outage around 6:30 a.m. knocked out power to both the medical center and the adjacent Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. The children's hospital's power has since been <a href="http://westchester.news12.com/story/38325053/westchester-medical-center-loses-power" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">restored</a>, but it's not known when the medical center will be back on the grid, News 12 said.
