Latimer said some of the earlier canceled festivals could be rescheduled if society opens back up.
In the works, he said, were two drive-in movie theater nights, which would allow people to stay in their cars and watch a movie on the big screen. The dates have not yet been announced.
Regarding the number of coronavirus cases in the county, for Friday, Latimer said the trend continues to be encouraging.
Out of 30,905 confirmed positive cases in Westchester, there are only 4,272 active cases. A month ago there were more than 11,000 active cases.
"Clearly that is a significant drop down," Latimer said.
There are to date 1,191 deaths of Westchester residents, up only four from Thursday's report. Latimer said that was one of the smallest increased.
The county continues to test a significant number of residents — 107,466 so far. About 70 percent of the tests turn out to be negative for the virus.
