Westchester Soup Company Donates Portion of Sales for Cancer Awareness
The chef/owner of FiftyTwo Soups is making the donation to honor his late father.
A Westchester County-based company is donating a portion of its sales during the month of April to increase awareness of esophageal cancer.
Daniel Testa, the chef and owner of FiftyTwo Soups is honoring his late father Gary Testa.
The elder Testa, who was an integral part of the company’s formation, died of esophageal cancer in November 2014 at NewYork Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville.

“A special company donation will be made in memory of my dad who was treated at both institutions during his courageous battle against the disease,” Daniel Testa said in a prepared statement.
Testa added that not only is April the month of his father’s birth but also Esophageal Cancer Awareness Month.

The company makes and delivers all-natural soups on a weekly basis, using local and seasonal ingredients from farms in New York.
The soups are made in the Cook and Bake Center in Mamaroneck.
