Westchester's Winter Wonderland to Open Friday
A Christmas tree-lighting ceremony will be a highlight of the opening night.

VALHALLA, NY — The third annual Westchester’s Winter Wonderland will officially open for the season Friday with the lighting of a 32-foot Christmas tree.
Winter Wonderland opens at 5 p.m. at the Kensico Dam Plaza, 1 Bronx River Parkway in Valhalla.
The tree lighting will occur at 6 p.m. in front of the newest attraction: Hanneford’s Holiday Circus “big top” tent.

On hand for the lighting will be County Executive Robert Astorino and representatives of the Westchester Parks Foundation and the Westchester County Parks Department.
Attractions at Winter Wonderland include the Santa Experience, skating at RangersTown Rink, Candy Cane Lane and the Musical Light Show.
