White Plains Adds Two Taxi Starters at Train Station

White Plains Mayor Tom Roach Wednesday launched a new taxi starter initiative at the city’s train station.

The two new starters will work Monday through Friday during the morning and evening rush hours, and will be available to assist commuters utilizing the station and to “ensure the orderly and efficient operation of taxicabs.”

The utilization of starters at the train station has long been sought by Mayor Roach as a means of improving the customer experience at the very busy White Plains station.
