White Plains Adopts 2016-17 Budget

The spending document includes raises for the mayor and other personnel.

WHITE PLAINS, NY - A budget for 2016-17 was adopted Tuesday by the White Plains Common Council.

The spending plan is for $165.9 million and gave 1.5 percent pay raises for Mayor Thomas Roach, as well as department heads and deputies, according to the Journal News.

A property tax increase of 0.1 percent was included in the budget.
