White Plains Clears Movie Theater of 'Infestation' Complaints
An independent pest control service confirmed Cinema de Lux's inspection.

The White Plains moviehouse saddled with a possible infestation has been cleared by the city.
Karen M. Pasquale, senior advisor to Mayor Thomas Roach, issued a statement that said a follow-up inspection of City Center 15: Cinema de Lux by an independent pest control service chosen by the city found no evidence of any infestion and that the building department has closed the matter.
There had been complaints received by the city that there were lice and mice and possibly bed bugs.

The city issued a violation and gave the moviehouse a deadline to correct the problem.
Pasquale said the independent service’s report confirms inspection results of the pest control service used by Cinema de Lux’s operator.

“Taken together, these reports should alleviate any concerns the public may have about visiting the movie theater,” Pasquale said.
