White Plains Gives OK to $275M Development

The White Plains Common Council approved a $275 million development at a recent meeting.
Lohud.com said the project will replace the vacant Westchester Pavillion mall.
Developers will pay $2.3 million to the city for park and playground upgrades or the creation of new recreation facilities.

The project will be a mixed-use development that will have 707 rental apartments in two 24-story towers, lohud.com said, and will feature 16.500 square feet of restaurant space.
