White Plains Holiday Market Set To Open

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The city of White Plains Holiday Market will open for business Sunday.

The city, the White Plains Business Improvement District and 914PopUps have partnered to host the annual Holiday Market, which is a 15-day shopping experience running from Sunday through Dec. 19.

The market, which is free to enter, will be located on Court Street between Main Street and Martine Avenue. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.

Organizers said a ribbon-cutting at the market at 5:15 p.m. Sunday will be followed by the lighting of the city's holiday tree in Renaissance Plaza (Fountain Park) and music by the White Plains High School Marching Band.

More than 60 artisanal vendors from around the region will be offering an array of uniquely designed and crafted products, including ornament, hand-painted glass, jewelry, pottery, knits, African and Tibetan products, bath products, oils, vinegars, nesting dolls, natural skincare products such as soaps and creams, baby clothing, dog treats, baked goods and craft beers.
