White Plains Hospital Workers Treated To Dunkin' Coffee

There were also individually packaged "doughnut sticks" for the health-care professionals working during the new coronavirus outbreak.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — More than 1,000 workers at White Plains Hospital were treated to coffee and individually packaged "doughnut sticks" Friday morning courtesy of the Dunkin' Food Truck. The truck was on site on Davis Avenue for the hospital's medical and administrative staff from 7:30 a.m. to noon.

To date, Dunkin' has donated more than $500,000 to the New York region, including $250,000 directly to local food banks though the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Grant program.

Along with the White Plains Hospital, Dunkin' and its local franchisees will continue supporting local hospitals and frontline workers.

According to a spokeswoman, Dunkin' has donated the following to local hospitals:

  • $115,000 in Dunkin' gift cards
  • 21,000 doughnuts
  • 152,000 cups of coffee
