White Plains to Host Free Bicycle Safety Program

The free event will have bicycle-related activities.

WHITE PLAINS, NY - A free Bicycle Safety-Helmet Safety Program will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 7 in White Plains.

The White Plains Recreation & Parks Department, in cooperation with the Jill E. Solomon Foundation, at Delfino Park, 110 Lake St.

Activities will include helmet fittings, bike inspections, bicycle safety rodeo, giveaways, music and refreshments.

There will also be a learn-to-ride program for children.

Organizers said you must bring your bike to participate.
