1. When did your business open? October 2016.

3. Why start a business in this town? We love White Plains! Epic Westchester’s goal was to break through NYC walls to an upcoming suburban area with our chic boutique studio, not the usual big box gym. Centrally located with a diverse population, White Plains was our first choice.

4. What business are you in? Epic Westchester is a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) circuit-style fitness program that injects fun back into fitness and produces results! A combination of functional fitness, cardio, strength training in a HIIT format — you’ve never done anything like this in a fitness class. Dubbed one of the toughest workouts by the Daily News, Fox 5, Inside Edition and many more. Epic takes no prisoners.

5. What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced starting a new business? Getting the word out to everyone what Epic Hybrid Training is and that our new location is in White Plains. It’s challenging to get people to try a new fitness regime especially one that is unique and challenging. There is not another workout like Epic so once people try out our classes, see the rewards they achieve, they are hooked.

6. What’s one highlight you've had since opening? There have been a number of highlights but of most importance to our team is our client’s success. Clients overcoming obstacles (literally), their motivational group dynamic, smiling faces, goal achievement, increased energy and confidence tells us at Epic Westchester we are doing our jobs. Watching clients who couldn’t climb a rope when they walked in-climb the rope to the top and ring the bell — EPIC!

7. How does your business give back to the community? Our community and their health is of great importance to us. Epic Westchester has participated in numerous community events including Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Westchester Medical Center Mud Run and Richard J. Bailey's Responsible Father is a Healthy Father Day. Our goal is to produce healthier, happier and accomplished clients — making everyone’s day a better day.
