White Plains Public Library Receives $1M from City for Renovations

An donor and fundraising made up the rest of the cost of the improvements.

White Plains, NY — The White Plains Public Library was given $1 million by the city for a ground-floor renovation including a new entrance.

An anonymous donor gave another $1 million and the White Plains Library Foundation raised the rest for the project, according to an article at lohud.com.

Also planned with a cafe with outdoor seating.
