White Plains Reservoir Project Close to Completion

The planning for the project took eight years before construction was started.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — A two-year, $10 million project to repair dams and spillways at White Plains Reservoirs No. 1 and 2 should be wrapped up by Dec. 3.

Officials said the project will bring the reservoirs into federal compliance and had been in the works for eight years before construction began, the Journal News said.
