White Plains Store Capitalizes on Premium Sneaker Craze

Heist NY, a new high-end sneaker store in White Plains, is seeing its popularity grow by catering to a clientele who take their footwear very seriously, reports The Journal News in an exclusive feature.

The store, which opened on New Year’s Eve, is located on Mamaroneck Avenue in a space designed to look like a bank, including a vault. It sells sneakers for upwards from $100, some of which are special editions. Business so far has been good.

“I look at a sneaker as a piece of art,” Heist NY co-owner Tyler Abrams told The Journal News.
