White Plains' Weekend Weather (and What to Expect on Halloween)
After dishing out wintry precipitation, Mother Nature changes it up this weekend around the city.
WHITE PLAINS, NY — We saw some snow, sleet and around an inch of rain Thursday in the Hudson Valley; and, as a reward for dealing with all of that, we get weekend weather that's overall pretty good.
Even your trick-or-treat forecast Monday looks pretty good. Most importantly for costume-wearers, it will be dry. But put the long underwear on underneath.
The weekend forecast starts off very cold, gets better in the middle, and then calls for rain showers Sunday afternoon and evening.

"After another cold night Friday night, Saturday looks much nicer," said Bill Potter from Hudson Valley Weather. "Sunshine mixing with clouds, and temperatures actually above average (thanks to a SW wind), in the low 60s! So we just need to get through Friday… and we’ll have a great start to our final weekend in October."
