Whiz Kids: Girl Scout Troop 2412

Here's our story on this week's Patch Whiz Kids: Four girls of Girl Scout Troop 2412: Emily Mancuso, Margaret Indelicato, Tara Indelicato, Anjali Ferris 

Whiz Kids' Ages: 14-16-years-old 

Whiz Kids' Accomplishment: Four girls of Troop 2412 raised money for a trip to Europe through fundraisers beyond cookie sales. The troop held several original and unique fundraisers—including a fashion show for over 75 local girls, a Harry Potter themed event for high school girls, and a Mother/Daughter Chocolate Dipping event, for well over 100 people

Troop members traveling abroad are Emily Mancuso 16, who attends Mamaroneck High School; Margaret Indelicato 16, and Tara Indelicato, 14, who both attend White Plains High School; and Anjali Ferris 15, who attends Scarsdale High School. 

Also joining Troop 2412 on their trip is Brigida Capicotto 15;  Marena Cassetta, 15; Francesca Critelli,15 from Girl Scout Troop 2790 who all attend White Plains High School. 

The girls will be leaving from NY from Aug. 6-15, and landing in London to meet and travel with other Girl Scouts from Nevada, Illinois and Oregon. Together they will be visiting England, Paris, and Switzerland.

The girls will be participating in programming at the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGS), in London and Switzerland and look forward to meeting other Girl Scouts around the world.
