Winners Announced for Volunteer New York! 36th Annual Spirit Awards
Local Dobbs Ferry resident among 8 other individuals to be awarded.
Local resident of Dobbs Ferry, Robert Baron wins Going Green Award from Volunteer New York’s 2016 Volunteer Spirit Awards for his work in Groundwork Hudson Valley. Robert and 8 other individuals and groups will be given recognition for having gone above and beyond in donating their time and talent to volunteer activities that strengthen our region.
This award, presented by Con Edison, honors volunteers who work to protect and beautify our environment and natural surroundings, advocate for the preservation of our planet and strive to instill these values for our community.
“These awards bring our volunteer, non-profit and for-profit partners closer together, while highlighting how important volunteer services is to keeping Westchester and our surrounding areas strong, resilient and thriving,” said Alisa H. Kesten, Volunteer New York! Executive Director.
