The Brooklyn PTA 5K is back April 30th in Prospect Park, go register now!
The event is a great way to get some exercise with the neighbors and also raise money for our schools. With huge budget cuts on the table for education spending every little bit helps.
Last year, over 500 people participated, raising over $6,000 to support Brooklyn's PTAs.
The run is sponsored by PTAs of Brooklyn and the office of Brad Lander and you can run as part of a school group or as an individual. To be a team leader or to volunteer contact Jessica Turner at Brad Lander's office: jturner@council.nyc.gov or call 718-499-1090.
This is a run/walk/stroll/toddle event for all ages, so there are really no excuses. Register!
