A neighbor email that
the sign on the Cortelyou entrance of the Ditmas Ave. F Station says that the closed stairway will be completed by 11/2016, which is a good 6 years after it was closed! Contacting the MTA to ask why a stairwell would require six years to repair has yielded no response. I have called 311 as well and thought that if there are other neighborhood residents who would like to use this exit/entrance in the next six years, we might band together and call 311. I understand budget cuts in a tough economy, but six years seems a bit excessive.
