80-Year-Old Woman Hit By Jeep In Kensington, Police Say

KENSINGTON, BROOKLYN — An 80-year-old woman was hit by a Jeep on Ocean Parkway Tuesday night, according to police.

The elderly woman was crossing Ocean Parkway near 18th Avenue around 8:40 p.m. when she was struck by a 2015 Jeep, police said.

The 80-year-old, who had been crossing in the middle of the block, was taken to Maimonides Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The Jeep driver did not faces charges, police said.
