As American as Apple Pie: Violent Crime Up; Property Crime Down

The 66 Precinct reported no murders for 2010, but the NYPD year-end citywide crime statistics show that murder, rape, felony assault, and robbery were up, while those for property crimes, except burglary, declined.

The Brooklyn murder rate increased by 7.4%—way below the spike in Queens (25.9%) and Manhattan (12.2% ). Rape for the 66 Precinct, through Dec. 26, also declined from 14 a "year ago to date" to 11 in 2010.
