Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts Performs Sat at 6:30 p.m.

This Saturday evening, February 26 at 6:30 p.m., the Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts (BIPA), directed by Annie Ferdous, will offer a 2-hour performance showcasing songs, a recitation, and a dance in honor of the UNESCO-sponsored International Mother Language Day. The performance will take place at Khan’s Tutorial, 188 Dahill Road, 2nd floor.

Anyone who attended last fall's Kensington World’s Fair probably saw this troupe of women—teachers and students alike—perform. That they sang in Bangla barely interfered with the audience’s enthusiastic appreciation and should not this Saturday. The performance is free and open to all.
