Sponsored by the Sandwip Education and Cultural Society, this two-block Mela on Beverley, from Church Avenue to E. 2nd, will host live performances, music, and dance starting around noon to end about six. In addition, the morning focus from 9 a.m. on and continuing intermittently during the performances, will be discussions in Bangla on Bangladeshi cultural heritage. Needless to say, there will be lots and lots of food.
