Basmati Clothing

 



At this point, it's pretty well established that Basmati, the Indian restaurant on Church between E 2nd and 3rd, is closed, and the space is now being used as a clothing store, as pictured here by Azi Paybarah.

But every time I see it, I wonder how long it will be before they replace the awning, or at least take it down. While Basmati is actually a pretty good name for a clothing store, I'm pretty sure those pieces are not flavored with tandoori masala...at least I hope they're not.
