Brooklyn Girl Flees Man Who Grabbed Her From Behind, Police Say

Police released photos of a man suspected of groping an 11-year-old girl in Brooklyn last week.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A scared 11-year-old girl fled a Brooklyn street after a man snuck up and grabbed her from behind her, according to police.

The man crept toward the little girl near the corner of 18th Avenue and 66th Street at about 3:40 p.m. last Wednesday, said police.

The man suddenly grabbed the 11-year-old’s buttocks and she jumped away and dashed off down the block, police said.

Police released photos of a suspect — whom they describe as a man in his 60s, standing about 5-feet 4-inches with grey hair and blue eyes — one week later.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police.
