It seems crazy to me to oppose a brand new school to be built in this neighborhood - or edge of it - rather than to work with all the parties to make sure kids who live on the surrounding streets can walk to it for classes! Yes, there are many things that are likely to raise concerns, and questions, but it sounds like it was not a productive meeting at all last night, and to just oppose a new school without having a proper meeting with all concerned parties? I don't know. Is the status quo of car-washes, and auto body shops that much better?
