CB7 Public Safety Committee Meeting

Neighbor Aaron Brashear of the Concerned Citizens of Greenwood Heights, sends word on an upcoming committee meeting of Community Board 7 to address the recent string of sexual assaults in the area:

CB7's Public Safety Committee is holding its next meeting to discuss an update on the sexual assaults in Sunset Park, Greenwood Heights and South park Slope since March 2011.

Tuesday, September 20, 2011 @ 6:30pm

The 72nd Pct. will be there to give the community an update, discuss next steps and answer questions/concerns.

While everyone is welcome, the FOCUS of this meeting will be the sexual assaults.

The location is still TBD. CB7 is attempting to find adequate space Green-Wood Heights/South Slope area since the last meeting was at CB7. I will e-mail folks with the location as soon as it determined, or you can call CB7 later in the week to ask for an update 718-854-0003.

Please spread the word to your neighbors and friends as I know not everyone is on these newsgroups. I have asked the Safe Slope folks to also make an announcement at their rally. Hopefully we'll have a location by Wed. afternoon. [Updated with location below.]
