Celebrate Brooklyn Opening Night Gala This Friday

The 2011 season of Celebrate Brooklyn, the summer concert series that takes place in Prospect Park, kicks off this Friday, June 10 with its opening night gala. Tickets are available starting at $350, which goes to support the free concerts presented throughout the summer. If that's beyond your budget, don't fret! You can still catch the opening musical performance by Chicago's Andrew Bird, which is free to the public. The show starts at 8pm at the Prospect Park band shell.
