Charlie Brown Xmas Tree Sale by Poorfarm Farm
Charlie Brown Xmas Tree Sale by Poorfarm Farm
Still need a little Christmas spirit in your little space? This Saturday, Poorfarm Farm will be selling wee trees at Brooklyn Commune (along with their terrific syrup!):
Another kind of tree comes to Windsor Terrace: Poorfarm Farm's Charlie Brown Xmas Trees will be for sale in front of Brooklyn Commune on Saturday, December 17 from 9 AM until this limited supply of unique trees are sold out.
These trees' unusual character comes from their not having been planted in neat rows by humans, but rather having grown naturally from pine cones that end up underneath the power lines crossing our land. If we don't cut them down to bring holiday cheer to our Brooklyn friends, the power company will eventually do so and just leave them where they lie.
Also available for purchase: the last of Poorfarm Farm's 2011 Maple Syrup--@ $10, the 250 ml glass bottle makes a perfect holiday gift, and why not pick up a quart for yourselves!
