Yesterday's Compost for Brooklyn Block Party was packed with activities for kids and adults, and I saw a lot of people getting their hands dirty in compost, testing out salad recipes, and learning how to care for plants. After checking out the terrific garden C4B created out of a vacant lot, I took a water taste test and learned I prefer tap water over bottled water.
