Cops Nab Man Who Crept Into Young Brooklyn Girl's Bed

Isaac Hernandez, the man police say crept into a Brooklyn home and crawled into the bed of a 14-year-old girl, was arrested Wednesday.

KENSINGTON, BROOKLYN — Police caught the man who snuck into the bedroom of two young girls, crawled into bed with one of them, took off his pants and put his hands over her face.

Isaac Hernandez, 38, has been arrested on attempted rape and burglary charges for creeping into the bedroom of a 14- and 10-year-old girl near 40th Street and 15th Avenue at about 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

The 14-year-old tried to escape when she awoke and found Hernandez next to her, but he grabbed her so began to scream and woke up her sister, who also started shouting, police said.

Hernandez quickly pulled up his pants and escaped through the girls’ unlocked window, and police have been looking for him ever since.

Police released photos of Hernandez the same day near a Benjamin Moore at 492 McDonald Ave. and arrested him on Wednesday.

Hernandez, who lives in Corona in Queens, was charged with attempted rape, two counts of burglary and endangering the welfare of a child, said police.

Hernandez was awaiting arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court as of Thursday morning, court records show.
