Brownstoner reports yesterday:
The Police found a body in a van stolen around the end of March a few hours ago with a dead fella with a couple of bullets in his head. The Van was found on 20th street between Seeley and Vanderbilt around 4pm today and the plates were removed.
According to a neighbor, "Deputy Inspector Pintos from the 72nd precinct came to last night's CB7 meeting to offer what little information they have. They are trying to identify the owner of the car and identify the victim but are in the very beginning phases of the case and don't yet have much information".
The next 72nd Precinct Community Council meeting is on Tues. 5/13 at 7:30 at the Marion Heim Senior Center, 4520 4th Ave. (R train to 45th Street). The meeting is open to the public and Deputy Inspector Pintos and others from the precinct will be there.
