Ditmas Park Dashers Finish 9 week Beginner Running Class

The Ditmas Park Dasher Beginner Running Class 1 ended with a triumphant finale as members completed the Cosme 5K run on the Coney Island Boardwalk on Sunday, June 26. The weather was perfect and the runners were strong - finishing the first race ever for 5 of the runners. Coach Bill Boyle ran along with them to help maintain the pace and keep up their spirits as they hit the turn around at the Brighton Beach end of the boardwalk and headed back to Keyspan Park. Everyone was thrilled to see the improvement in their running.
