If something happens to your baby or child, will you know what to do? Learn Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for infants and children, as well as basic first aid and safety techniques. Topics covered include infant and child CPR; Heimlich maneuver for choking; first aid for bleeding, head injuries, falls and burns; treatment for poisoning; dealing with fever and allergic reactions; and the most preventive measure of all: how to baby proof your home. Practice with mannequins is included. Due to the serious nature of this class, it is best if babies do not attend. Minimum of 10 people pre-registered in order to have the workshop.
