Felonies in Kensington from Monday, September 26 to Sunday, October 9


In the CompStat figures for the past two weeks released by the 66th Precinct, there were 3 felonies in the first week: Sept 26-Oct 2, and only 1 for the second: Oct 3-9. Once again, the PIMS unit presents this info by sector.

Sector G—from Beverley Road to Avenue F;  37th Street to Coney Island Avenue.

Tues, Sept 27 @ 3pm  Grand Larceny, Ocean Parkway
In reviewing his bank statement at home, a man discovered someone had linked a PayPal account to his bank account without his permission. No arrest.

Sat, Oct 1 @ 5am    Assault at Ditmas Av & E. 4 St
A cab driver employed by Church Avenue Car Service struck a male rider, for no known reason, with a club, causing a laceration to the top of  his head. No arrest.

Fri, Oct 7 @ 10:30pm  Robbery at Cortelyou Rd & Coney Island Av
A woman (her age not given) said a man approached her, punched her in the face and bruised her, then grabbed her cellphone from out her hand, without permission or authority. Arrest made.

Mon, Sept 26 @ 11pm   Burglary on Church Av
At a store on Church Avenue (no address or cross street given), an unknown perp entered the premises through a rear door and took $75 cash from the register. No arrest.
