Felony Crimes in Kensington December 1-5

To clarify:  this weekly report from the 66 is for felony crimes—not all crimes—since NYPD does not release information on misdemeanors. Throwing a stone at a kitchen window is considered criminal mischief and classified as a misdemeanor; precinct can tell you charge grade, which determines punishment.

Wed. Dec. 1   Burglary @ 524 McDonald Ave, bet. Church & Ave. C.
Unknown perp broke into commercial office where s/he took money from a desk. No arrest made.

Wed. Dec. 1   Assault @ Ditmas JHS #62, 700 Cortelyou @ E. 7 St.
Teacher injured after eating an apple with staples in it which a student had purposely inserted. Arrest made.

Fri. Dec. 3   Robbery @ corner of E 5 St & Beverley Rd at 7:30 pm.
19-yr old male was pushed to the ground, kicked and punched in the face by 4 men in their 20s, who took his phone and wallet. All 4 perps arrested.
